Part of the evolving Olympic Park innovation district, the Pudding Mill masterplan will form a new neighbourhood centre with shops, cafés, and restaurants, new riverside parks and an urban square. There will be 948 new homes, new employment space, and the development will support around 2,000 jobs.
ZCD were appointed by LLDC to undertake youth engagement and provide urban design advice to inform the development of masterplans for Pudding Mill. We teamed up with RCKa on the neighbouring Bridgewater site to complement a wider programme of engagement involving local people.
Our youth engagement element involved three sessions with 12 young people from the LLDC’s Legacy Youth Voice and two sessions with year 5 at the nearby Carpenters Primary School.
